Charone Peake battled injuries for two seasons. He finally had his knee surgery this off season. Since then he has ran a 4.3 in the 40. That isn't bad considering that he hasn't even completed his rehab yet. RUT ROH RAGGY! THE DAWGS MAY BE IN SOME DEEP KIMCHEE....
Williams is the perfect fit to replace Byrant because they are both tall and have great hands. However, let us not forget the other WR that are ready to show out. The only question we have right now is RT on the O Line... Once that issue is fixed then we will be alright.

We also have Adam Humphries who has great hands as well...Can't wait to see which freshman receiver steps up too.we may have lost Boyd and Watkins but I think we have the pieces to replace them.Stoudt doesn't seem to get rattled like Boyd did

Stoudt seems to scan the field better than Boyd and he does not have a problem with the "check down" pass. Stoudt will surprise people with his abilities.

When has Stout been in a position to get rattled ?

Not that I think he won't be able to handle the adversity as I think he'll do well, but that is the question - how is he under pressure and in high stakes situations.

Peake if heathy is going to have a big year, Williams is more like Nuk because he not as fast a Bryant, but should be really good this year. Adam is person people forget about but he will show people to not forgot about him. I'm looking forward to three early enroll WR also. Because I think Thompson will get redshirted. The O-line is going to the key to this season.....

I've been waiting for Peake to bust out since we signed him. Shows great speed, athleticism, etc has just been battling the injury bug. This year is his to introduce himself to the football world.

Peake will need to be great

Peake will need to be a great player this year for Clemson to have a good passing game. I hope he will, but we won't know how he will be after his injury. Still I think Clemson will be more of a running team this year.

The key to the puzzle is the OL. Stoudt can easily replace Boyd, as he sees the field much better and takes what the defense gives him. We must be able to protect and run the ball well though. That's the aspect that was key with Boyd and will be tough to replace. Watch out for Artavis Scott and Trevion Thompson. I think they can be the next freshman phenoms at WR.

where did you come up with the statement that Peake needs to have a great year in order for us to be very good. You are so wrong. This team will not be dependent on one or two receivers. The ball will be spread around more, the TE used much much more, and our running game even better.
if what I say is not correct please tell me why we recruited all the offensive weapons if our offense was going to be dependent on Peake's year? Please do yourself a favor and think before you make statements that are totally out of line.

Peake was ranked higher as a recruit than Watkins I think, so he definitely has the potential to be as great as he wants to be. Williams is awesome and a clutch WR. Adam will continue to amaze people as he knows how to get open and has the best hands on the team. I'm still hoping that G-Hop will raise his game and be the star we need. Right now Adam and Williams are my favorites to move the chains.

I agree with your post which is a lot different than the poster here who said we were dependent on a huge year from Peake. I don't believe that for a second.

We should be fine at WR. I am more worried about...

consistency at RB this year. Not sure if DJ Howard is an every down back. I keep hearing how much of a bruiser Wayne Gallman is. Wonder who will be the workhorse this season.
Go Tigers!

step up and be a cohesive unit. Not like the past 3 years, with 2 good Olimen and the rest not doing anything.
