Who else makes a conscious daily decision to not watch ESPN?

Aug 21, 2015, 8:09 PM

I refuse to watch cfb live, get my highlights of baseball and basketball scores elsewhere as well. Check my scores on cbssports.com

The only time I'll tune in is if Clemson's playing or there's another interesting matchup that may indirectly affrct us. Sports bars are fine bc they're tuned in to ESPN either way.

I'm doung my part in bringing their empire to the ground. Are you?

Cannot tolerate their tactics. The surest way of maximizing profits on their monumental investment of the SEC is to hype not just the SEC, but every other conference in America, while trivializing (or completely neglecting) the accomplishments of the ACC: the sleeping Giant and only other conference where most school's geographical reside in locations posing a direct threat to the SEC in terms of the accumulation of top recruits, and ultimately championship teams.

I don't appreciate how ESPN tends to be so SEC biased. I think when we dominate they will show a Clemson bias too. ESPN was all over FSU's jock for years. All that said, I won't boycott ESPN. They have shows and games I want to watch at times and I come first. Would you not watch a Clemson game on ESPN? I completely respect your opinion, and I admire your commitment, but is it really worth it? I doubt ESPN is going anywhere soon.

Okay, could be wasting time here reminding you that a previous post in this thread I clearly stated the only time O tune in is for Clemson games and others that affect our standing later in the year.

ESPN may not go anywhere soon, but the SEC network just may (in order for them to remove the plank from their own eye and report the college football landscape in a less discriminatory manner.

Pretty sure plenty of people said to MLK Jr that racial segregation was going nowhere soon as well ;) Food for thought.

Carlsbad, clearly a coot. Noted.

Will have to have some type of APP with smart TV in order to watch some CF games. But that is all.

Only watch it when we are on there or the Panthers. Cut the sportscenter and PTI titty years ago. Tired of hearing about Brady, Lebron, and SEC football. Tosh.O. Was spot on

to show SEC crap on ESPNU. Right now they are showing top 25 SEC games on SEC network, so I look to see what is on ESPNU and they are showing Roll Tide/War Eagle. W T F. I don't watch any of it unless it's Clemson sports.

I record CFL and ff through it unless I see our Paw. I pay for it one way or the other because of ESPiN's coverage of D1 games.

I watch FB games (or possibly a BBall game, maybe). I don't watch a lot of other stuff they have. It's boring IMO. It's not that I am boycotting them or anything, it's just that their stuff does not interest me - just the games.

I'll watch the SEC channel also, if the game is worth watching. I don't watch that stupid Paul Stinkbomb though. I made it thru almost 5 minutes of one of his shows, and almost heaved. He sucks.

I feel like I explained why I avoid increasing their ratings in a rather thorough fashion in my 2nd post.

The USA soccer games and Clemson bball are the only times I've tuned in since last football season.
