Don't get me wrong, I'm completely happy with the class we've signed. And even though we don't play them, we recruit against them. I just don't understand why anyone would want to go to Ole Miss to play football.

They had a few pretty solid seasons under Cutcliffe and Nutt where they won 9+ games.

They made a couple of Cotton Bowl appearances between 2004 and 2010, otherwise their bowl history over the last twenty plus years primarily consists of meaningless lower-tier bowls.

Even with the 10-3 season in 2003 (Eli Manning's senior year) they finished second in the $EC West behind LSU. That is the closest they have come to even sniffing a conference championship in nearly fifty years. I believe their last one was in 1963.

Although they did win the national championships in 1960 and 1962.

I dunno, but I do believe a couple SEC West schools are about to do some digging. . . .
