Which Upper Deck is better

The North Upper Deck or the South Upper Deck and why?
The only reason I’m asking y’all is because I’m bored.

Wife gave labor 9 weeks premature 3 days later but we won the 2202 gt rain game. Several big plays but a blah game that got closer than it needed to. Boy is a junior now at Clemson

that if you were to stumble going down, your next landing spot would be a SPLAT in the lower bowl. Not a warm fuzzy feeling. Kudos to the brave souls who inhabit that Northern region.

So you time traveled to the 2202 GT game? You must be in the Space Force

Great to know we beat GT in the year 2202. Who’s our coach in the year of our lord 2202. Are the Braves still choking in the playoffs by that time?

Eric Sampson with the INT in OT.
I haven't seen rain like that since.
That is great to hear regarding your son.

Probably south. It can be pros and cons for each, but south is out of the direct sun sometimes. Kinda easier to enter lower gates versus climbing stairs to north gate (9 at least).
It is the Home side, but not too big a factor.
North used to put opposing bands tucked into west corner, so north seemed to be closer, and maybe a little louder.
Really not a while bunch different. Either U* seats are better than TD* seats... That's my 🪙🪙.

South is better. Clemson side and no direct sun in your face.

South upper is the home side behind the Clemson bench and the sun isn’t in your face.

I like the South UD section - particularly TDE and TDF in the lower rows. Overhead view of the field is great without being too far away to see what's happening. The sun is at your back late in day games.

South. 5,000 less people to deal with than north. Not as steep or high as north. Sun at your back. People on the east side are the first ones inside the stadium to see the buses rounding the corner onto Williamson Rd.

South, lots of good games as a student there. Some big games you can feel it literally sway when the student section is jumping for zombie nation. Sat in the north side a bit after graduating before we upgraded to get lower deck. North stands in just didn’t feel as much fan energy, probably a combination of lack of students and visiting fan section. North stands are easier to get to IMO though, cemetery hill can be a bit of a bear after pregaming all day

The sun is in your face in the north stands all year.
This time of year you'll get some nice shade in the south upper deck.

South. North feels like you are on a journey and climbing to the pearly gates on those ramps and steps.

South. North is significantly steeper and there is NEVER any shade on the north side.

I like the North because that’s where I was sitting when Rod Gardner made that awesome catch. And that’s where I sat for the 2003 win over FSU.

Yep. We had a blast before, during, and after the game. DTU finished watching the game at the ESSO, FSU fan went to jail.

Actually we tailgated next to some FSU fans and a FSU chic kept flirting with him. She was fine as hell, but he was married at the time.
I stand corrected DTU, you’re an oak.

I sat in the South upper deck as a student but otherwise have always sat in the North upper deck. I prefer the North side of the stadium because I’m facing the home side and I just prefer the tailgate areas on that side of the stadium. We sit on the 4th row of the upper deck and it’s great. I much prefer it over the lower deck seats that are near the field. You can’t see anything down there. The BIG negative is the sun on the North side. Terrible 😳
