Which generation are the worst tiger fans?

I am going with Baby boomers. They never stand at the games, they are not very loud, and they hold up the lines at both the concessions and the restrooms. Oh, and they complain the most on Tnet, more than the other generations combined.

Since we don't know the age of folks on TigerNet, and I have no idea why there are names for age groups, I will go with the 21-40 year old group at games. That age group listens to bad, loud music, drinks too much, falls or gets sick going up and the down the steps, turns over their smuggled in liquor which of course runs downhill and you have to put your feet in a puddle until you get enough napkins to clean it up, and most importantly, know nothing but winning and are absolutely intolerant about performance by coaches and players.

Just kidding. I grew up loving Clemson during the Tommy West years. I think you are under estimating how old you are. The only people that have never experienced the down years of Clemson, were born after 2000

I'm 58 dad died at 80 Covid we never had down year at Clemson. Even with down teams true Tiger Nation never down.

Baby boomers have supported Clemson Sports the longest. We experienced a lot of bad football teams unlike the Dabo era. I attended Clemson when Frank Howard was coaching and in my time at Clemson we never went to a bowl game. I read the message boards and see plenty of you that can ‘T handle losses. So I think you have it wrong.

My generation appreciates the current success of Clemson football teams. We cheered when there was very little to cheer for.

The BEST Clemson fans were the 43,000+ that showed up in Death Valley on October 8, 1975 to watch two 0-4 teams, Clemson and Wake Forest, play! And watch Willie Jordan at QB make a key first down run and then limp onto the field to kick the Field Goal to win 16-14. Those were the boomers that have supported Clemson through the Good, the Bad and the Ugly!
The rest can battle it out for worst.

Tiger Band bought my ticket for every single game from ‘75 to ‘80. Then I took my EARNED engineering degree EARNED some $$$$$ and bought me some seats in the Valley. Been attending those games and paying the price, win or lose, ever since. Heck, they should give me my own private urinal at section P considering how much I’ve paid for my support for almost 45 years. Get in line behind me while this grapefruit sized prostate drips like molasses in winter. Just wait you free flowing waterfall.
Then I’ll go buy me a couple of cokes to mix with my smuggled Wild Turkey while you eat your doodoo ice, or whatever you infants suck on. Get in line and wait. Heck I might just make you wait while I count out some change, or maybe whip out the trusty
old checkbook and scribble out some funds for the inept punks behind the counter. Give me a drink carrier please! Then you can just slow your ### down as you watch me waddle through my portal and down the steps to my well worn 50 yardline seats. Stumbling across to my ‘seat backs’. Yeah, I still buy her a ‘seat back’ for every game too.
I saw ‘the catch’, cheered for Tree Rollins and watched Woody Hayes slug Charlie from 100 feet away at that Gator bowl.
Boomers introduced the 2 dollar bills to the bumble bee infested capitol of GA in the 70s. Heck, we even invented the Tiger Paw!
No, the worst fans, not fans at all, are you whiners that are in it only for the wins, the big wins, the crushing wins. The people with no concern for character or the spirit of Thomas Green. The ones whoo hooing like a girl’s Sunday school class or making some symblance of a Tiger Paw out of what looks like my arthritic left hand.

There's no such thing as a bad Tiger fan.
We should all have it in our hearts to love all who love the Orange & Purple, for at least a few hours a week.
The only bad fan is the one who doesn't love Clemson with all their heart. Who doesn't live & die on every football play, every bounce of the basketball, every swing of the baseball & softball bats, every kick of the soccer ball, every strike of the tennis ball, every stroke in the swimming pool, every bat of the volleyball, every step of the track team, etc., etc., etc.
The only bad fan thinks purple & orange don't go together, that the Tiger Paw is not the best university symbol in the world.
The only bad fan is a Gamecock fan.

I don't know which generation has the worst fans all I know is I'm the most loyal and best Tiger fan Clemson ever had. That's right. No one has been more devoted than . I remember when one of my colleagues at work turned against Dabo. His name was Dennis McElhanling or something equally doofus. He was A real goober I tell you. After five losses to Carolina he wanted Dabo gone. I told him to just have patience. He whined and moaned. In the end I was proven right. I don't where that guy is now but we had a bet and he owes me a meal and couple of good brews.
