Where is the pitching help? our rivals have now picked up numerous pitchers including a wake forest closer and a UVA pitcher. What are we doing about our lack of pitching?

Dude I’ve never heard someone complain so much in my life. We’ve gotten 2 pen arms, and bakich has absolutely crushed it with the position players. We had so many injuries on the mound last year that getting all those guys back healthy will be a huge boost. We also have a couple freshman arms coming in who are already hitting mid 90s. And I’m sure Bakich is still looking for pitchers in the portal. People like you wouldn’t be satisfied even if we signed prime Barry bonds and Pedro Martinez

crushed it? you are delusional dude, we havent crushed anything . The guys that came back from injury looked average at best so trusting this staff to develop pitchers is foolish. If you want Clemson baseball to truly make that next step, you have to go get power arms and fill a staff that can throw strikes, Clemson had none of that this year outside of Knaak. The pitchers we got so far in portal are ok, not great and if you want to make it to omaha way better talent is a must! sorry if the truth hurts but remaining in denial doesnt fix the problem. Your comment about Bakich crushing it is beyond laughable, you must have been in a coma for the last part of season this year. lol

He has crushed it with position players especially when the next 2 commitments are officially announced……. Best transfer class yet…… I do agree though we need a few more arms. Wells Bruce is right that we have more than people think due to injury but I also agree with you that I wouldn’t count on those guys even if they get healthy….. I think we need 2 more big arms and one control pitcher…..

Have you been in a coma? We have a top 10 transfer class this offseason and we’re not even done yet. Let me say it again, EB has CRUSHED it this offseason with the position players. Just wait till everyone is announced. If they all make it to campus this team next year is gonna rake. I agree another big arm is a need but your oblivious if you can’t accept that we’ve got a awesome crop of guys coming in

It hasn’t been announced yet but be looking for a specific commitment soon. A top 5 player in the entire portal this offseason.

You do realize there is a reason pitchers and catchers report to camp earlier than position players right? It takes them longer to ramp up. Add coming back from an injury on top of that leads to what you saw....a bunch of guys trying to ramp up on the fly because we had no other options.

Why is it almost always the 66% tiger pulser is the one downing the tigers? lol, I think we know. IMO, if you drop below 80%, you should be banned for a year. Get rid of the trolls.

If their portal pitchers were that good, they would not be going to a team that had a losing record.

Just to let you know, your insults to responders doesn’t help your argument. Try posting your position without the attitude to some fellow Tigers that may disagree with you. Seems every post you make includes derogatory insults.

I think EB has made the comment before that
“Position players are looking for their pro opportunity, pitchers are looking for their financial opportunity”
A lot more competition and swindling for those guys is my guess

Agreed. Plus with the way guys throw nowadays, you never know how long you’re gonna get out of a guys arm. So I fully understand them going for the bag early on and setting themselves up.

While it’s a fair question, you’ve dug yourself a hole on this board with your constant negativity and trolling. Why don’t you wait to whine until after the portal is over. Even though you will regardless. Never gonna convince me you’re a Clemson fan.

not trying but those of you that take up for bad coaching and continue to accept mediocrity arent true tiger fans either. As true fans we are all tired of the excuses, and the season ending collapse is not acceptable . No true fan that has any knowledge of baseball can argue that this team doesnt need pitching help in a big way. We need numerous big time arms and relying on freshman to be the saving grace is just foolish.
