Where is Clemson?

One of the favorite talking points of the feathered fowls in Columbia is, "no one knows where Clemson is located". That may be true but they certainly know about Clemson. Location is a moot point. It's what Clemson does that's on the mind and tongue of most everyone in the United States. When people in other parts of the country see or hear USC they immediately think of Southern Cal and when they see or hear Carolina, they think of the Tar Heels. The Gamecocks get little press and recognition in other parts of the country so there is little or no interest in where the school is located.
Very few schools can match the scene from our stadium. One can see a beautiful campus, the rippling waters of Lake Hartwell, the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the best football team in the nation, all this on a clear brisk sunny fall day made especially for Tiger fans.

We are blessed with our beautiful location. Every year when I hear Taps on Military Appreciation Day I tear up at "from the lake, from the hills, from the sky" because we have such a marvelous view of each of those places.
Who cares if outsiders keep mixing us up with Tennessee? WE know "there's something in these hills!"

I agree 100%. In the first week of my freshman year (many moons ago) I happened to come across a football schedule and saw that Clemson was going to play USC in November. This is when the Trojans were really great under John McCkay. And I thought, "Oh my goodness, we are going to get killed." My roomie told me it was the lesser usc, and that settled my nerves real quick.

John McKay coached USC from 1960-1975. USC was far more successful under McKay than John Robinson.

you are referring to a fan base whose collective brain power would not generate enough energy to light a fire flys a$$.
Who cares what those self-absorbed, illiterate, deluded, trailer-dwelling inbreds think.
They are an insignificant pustule on a gnats butt and only worthy of Clemson's attention about one week each year.
