Urgent CU Alert: Update: Situation stable. Single aircraft crash near Seneca Creek Meadow. Pilot sustained minor injuries. No other injuries reported. Avoid the area due to downed power lines. Traffic light out at Hwy 93 and Seneca Creek Rd. CUPD directing traffic.

I was able to contact my family and heard that everything is ok. Still can't believe how many lives close to the university we endangered with this incident.

About 1.5 miles from my house. It is slightly overcast now so not likely sun. The plane off all sizes fly directly over our house in downtown Clemson. CU released the details I posted above. Thankfully pilot had only minor injuries.
