Dabo's responds by telling them that Clemson probably isn't the program for them and that they should look elsewhere.
That's not to say he doesn't talk to the kids about NIL. He absolutely does. However, it is not and should not be the top, or in many cases, the only consideration.

That little word IF that you used is the killer, what IF you paid him a million and he wasn’t worth two cents?
You end up looking very ‘stupid! Some coaches think the risk is too high when you try to buy championships. I tend to agree.

Welcome to the new normal of college football, where you have to RE-sign your CURRENT roster every year, before you can go looking to add NEW players. Sooner or later, even Super Boosters will get tired of this situation, and develop some collusion rules of their own to live by, if the NCAA continues to sit with their thumbs stuck up their bums and do nothing.

As horrible as that sounds, it's the Gods honest truth. The NCAA or anyone else is about to touch all the rule breaking bc of the ruleless NIL until the fan bases show that they have heard and seen enough about it, and just stop buying tickets, and stop watching it on TV. And that isn't going to happen, so we get use to it, or give it up!!!

I just can’t figure how some of these bowl games make enough to make it worth there while. Internally I’m sure it happens but from looking from where I’m sitting and watching games with stadiums half full just seems like a loss. Now with these teams playing with so many opt outs how enticing is it for the bowl sponsors to have their name associated with a game that will not remotely resemble the team that played the regular season.

Yea I guess 10 years it would have been a lot different seeing players were not opting out like they are today.
You couldn’t have given me a ticket to what should have been a great bowl game with Ga and FSU. Fans love the matchup and with the opt outs it ended up being the worst bowl of the season.

You seem really high on the current affairs going on concerning the transfer portal. Are you a big contributor to the slush fund to get these type players you want to make the playoffs?
I like many on here probably don’t have it like that. Buying tickets and parking passes in our current economy is about all I can handle! I don’t even want to go back and look at what I spent this football season. Also I’m 2 1/2 hours away so that has gas bill is not cheap.

Not about the ho’s is about an equal playing ground plain and simple. Come up with a dollar figure or stipend and make it equitable across the board. Simple don’t overcomplicate it. Coaches are actual employees that are making living doing what they do and are normally not 18-22 year old kids, with some not having played one college snap. If you like some see it as the same then that’s all good I would just agree to disagree with it.
