Only the traveling team goes to the hotel the night before the game. The rest and walk ons show up to the locker room when the team arrives from the hotel.
Speaking of fake IDs.... one of my proudest moments was bouncing at Tiger Town. I turned away and kept Matt Kuchar's fake ID. It was the year he finished low amateur at the Masters. He was in town for a Thursday night game vs Ga Tech. We lost 24-21. Joe Hamilton and Dez White got us that day.
Any other day I would have let him in... not after they beat us though.
I thank God everyday the internet and social media wasn't around when I was in college and growing up. Everything these kids do these days is public record.

Our lovely and productive alcohol enforcement people have started requiring driver's license scans at all bars in college areas. The level of lameness is hard to fathom compared to even the 1990s tee-totaller cops patrolling the halls of Johnstone. We can pay these kids millions of dollars to entertain us on the football field but we can't say they are mature enough to drink alcohol. Some of them are now rich enough to own their own distillery.
