What has Lanning done with an unlimited budget?
Sark made one playoff. With one of the richest programs in America. One playoff year doesn’t make him a leading coach.
Dabo has been dealt DJU and a more typical developmental QB in Cade. That doesn’t mean he forgot to coach.
The top programs since 2020 (wins):
Georgia 63 - Smart. Ahead of Dabo right now.
Alabama 59 - Saban is gone
Ohio St 56 - Day. Ahead of Dabo right now.
Notre Dame 54 - Freeman is not better than Dabo
Clemson 51 - Dabo
Michigan 51 - Harbaugh is gone.
Oregon 51 - what has Lanning done that Dabo hasn’t. Lanning has won nothing.
Looks to me like, Smart, Day, and Dabo. Interestingly the only active head coaches to have nattys. Dabo 2, Smart 2, Day 1.
