Chad came in and brought the no huddle offense fast paced, promised of running 100 plays a game brought in the best quarterbacks. Brought in the best running backs receivers, and the offensive line did not have to hold their blocks as long. We wore other defenses down by the second half the other team was worn out and we would dominate plus we had Brett Venables, who is the best defensive coordinator in the country who took what we had and turned them into an elite group that knew every play and they were held accountable for each position. That’s why Clemson became great. Now we have a very slow paced offense that does not bring the top quarterbacks in. We’re only getting three and some four stars now but now the game has changed. It’s about money more than anything. College football has left us behind.

Your post is crap. His post is exactly correct. You must not have been around very long. Morris won games out scoring other teams. BV speaks for himself but took a little while to get his Dudes and his defense going. Morris left and Elliott was the main OC and he called Chad Morris plays. Elliott did a good job keeping the Morris offense going with a few touches of his own. When Elliott and BV left Dabo promoted from within and made mistakes with his replacements. That and DJ started our decent in recruiting and failure to use the portal. Here we are today having another couple of poor hires.

We do not get top QBs because we won’t pay the asking price. Streeter was a good OC who was sacrificed because a bad OL coach and two underperforming QBs plus lack of other talent due to Dani’s recruiting policies

Chad is a gum chewing maniac and is overrated as heel IMO…Scott/Tony were the real elite OCs

Klubnik was the highest "rated" QB...
Clemson was "rated" as high as #1...............before the season.
"rated" means.......it's someone's OPINION>

Yes , but it is an industry standard.
Until you or someone else invents new ways to evaluate HS football talent and then put them in some sort of ranking order ....that's what's up.
There's no science to it . It's a gamble every time. There are no sure things. This has all been said.

I think you are a few years off on the QB's. Morris was ok but don't forget he was not in town when we won the Championships.

He was not in town but his offense in the hands of Elliott was still in town. Many of the recruits in those championships were on the roster because of his offense.

Did you just say Morris brought is the best WR and RB? Because he had nothing to do with the talent he inherited.
The best offenses we what were with TE/Scott
BV D had some of the best coordinators especially DLine. We could also bring in some of the best players in the country because NIL did not exist. We also kept players a long time because the transfer portal did not exist. BV really struggled at OU until they finally got some of the best players in place and Wes Goodwin is now upstairs for him again.

The Chad was successful because he helped us implement a very new style of offense that defenses hadn’t developed an answer for yet. Now they have, and Chad isn’t an elite OC, otherwise he wouldn’t be a 2x fired HC and WR coach at some mid tier Texas school right now

If anything, you play fast and get the ball out of the QB hands as quick as possible, especially with a subpar O line.
