for what he wanted Clemson's offense to be. He wanted the spread, he hired Chad. If it is Riley, what did TCU's offense look like?
It was balanced, 556 rushes, 454 passes
It was not necessarily hurry up. 68 plays per game including the loss Monday
It led the nation in chunk pass plays

serious question . . . .
What are the specifics as to why "we" are SO excited about a 33 year old dude - with mainly Texas area ties - that got completely shut down in his last outing ?
Just a question - not a flame.

I dont believe his lack of production against gawga had anything to do with his style. it had more to do with grown men on the defensive line dominating a high school offensive line. Believe it or not, our offensive line is much better than TCU's. But....we shall see.

I think stealing a CFP championship teams OC who was the Broyles award winner looks good on the surface. From a talent standpoint. According to the 247 total team talent index, Georgia is the 2nd best team in the country on paper. Clemson is 5th. TCU is 32nd. I’d say finishing second and beating Michigan to make the final is punching way above his weight. We’ll get a chance to see what he can do with a Top 10 program (on paper) next season. Duggan was also wildly more productive with a reduced TD/INT ratio. His efficiency rating was about the same as 2021 but he threw almost twice as many passes and did throw twice as many touchdown. For a program that has struggled at QB for two years that would seem encouraging. Hopefully it works. We find out in less than 9 months.

A lot of people don’t realize that Chad played a huge part in building the offense that eventually became unstoppable en route to winning 2 national titles…That is until the NIL came about and we started slipping in recruiting. Hopefully the staff will be able to adapt in that aspect

The 247 team talent composite index ranks the last 3 years as the most talented teams of Dabo’s tenure. I have thoughts that have nothing to do (directly anyway) with our assistants but I know the dumpers won’t care so why bother.

^^^ spot on strpper ^^^
I don't think Dabo has any appetite in scrapping his offense. And most likely recruiting had a good bit to do with it since Brandon was the recruiting manager. Jmo
