After watching the interactions during the game with he and Dabo.
I also wouldn’t get comfortable if I was Allen.
It’s hard to hire good people in any industry and not necessarily because the people applying aren’t qualified. Sometimes the just don’t fit the culture.
Dabo has set a standard that, IMO, only Brent met. He has hired or promoted coaches that you cannot complain about and they have underwhelmed.
I’m looking forward to Dabo unleashed this offseason as I truly believe he will be based on his own comments.

I think handful of guys are gone including Riley … but u think Allen is safe. He needs athletes especially in the secondary and lb. We just haven’t been good there and throw in the d line that has been very underwhelming it’s not on him . He will get a few years to get it fixed with the right players in the portal and his recruiting. #### WG got 3 years I promise you Allen will get atleast that

The biggest change this off-season is the addition of more portal players. Specially on defense.

Riley did nto drop 5 balls on 3rd down, or fumble 2x in the redzone. This game easily could have been 41-19

im sorry but i have to defend Tom Allen here! The man came to clemson from penn st where he was given the ability to hire his own D, which turned out to be a top 10 D, and so hired by Dabo to come to clemson ALL BY HIMSELF! didnt get to hire not a single person. remember that D from last year that got pork fired!? just replace him with Allen in one year and BINGO! yall are so arrogant

on the goal line play where Cade and Peter Woods were not on the same page and CK fumbled, Swinney seemed irritated with Riley on the sideline. There was an obvious communication issue as not everyone was on the same page, as we have seen all year with pretty much every unit. This is not a talent issue, more a game-day execution problem as we have seen busts in the secondary, Olineman getting their assignments wrong, receivers not running correct routes, and the Linebackers out of position. Every week it is something different.

Riley with talent would run ACC. Oline is getting better, but still hurts pass and run. Injuries at receiver. Dabo’ reluctance to play people and eagerness to jump in plotting and planning.
