Just getting people to weigh in with their thoughts. I'm 50/50 on this issue.

Because at this point it is what we got.

Practice ‘em up best we can and play ball.

As Reggie Herring used to say - "we've got whom we've got"

And ole Booby Bowden once said "Reggie doesn't know the meaning of the word fear. In fact, I just saw his grades and he doesn't know the meaning of a lot of words."

Reggie H was awesome.... I would make the argument if he had who BV had, it would be a toss up for our best DC at Clemson.

They both had nothing but intensity in coaching the position. I hope this new guy lives up to his reputation.

I think we have three starter quality guys and a couple others behind them with a great deal of potential. Not sure many programs are out there that wouldn't gladly swap places with us.

Best DB unit in the ACC
7th best unit in the country

I think Hampton is a star in the making

For this to be true , we have to see something we didn’t see last year . They were beaten over and over last year with Terrell an automatic 15 yards anytime ball thrown at him . I realize we had zero pass rush but I am not sold on our Cb’s . We have no proven depth here at all

we are cooked . Kylin Griffin and Khalil Barnes in the secondary is awful

Lukus - ever since he lost the FSU game single handedly

after Nate Wiggins laid his body out and got the game to OT by breaking up the pass and injured at like the east end zone 20tard line

has been a liability . if he finally shows up , CB could be a strong position

otherwise we'll just see Aveion Terrel get pass interfences all day long and never break up the deep ball

it'll be interesting to see how LSUs WRU does on our DBs

I’m very high on Ashton Hampton kid will be a star one day. AV is a walking pass interference penalty, hopefully he has cleaned that up some over the offseason. Haven’t been impressed with lukus or griffin. I think the potential is there for Barnes and hope he improves. Really hoping jones takes a big step bc I think he has a high upside, much more potential than lukus or griffin.

Our corners were fine against SCar. Our DL's inability to tackle and poor LB play cost us that game.

The defense needs to kill the play at the LOS before the ball gets to the secondary. I am ready to see the return of the war daddies.

Ashton Hampton will be a 1st round draft pick, barring major injury.
Avieon Terrell is solid, but needs preferred matchups to play well.
Lukus hasn't figured it out yet, and I don't expect him to either.
There's a couple sleeper guys we picked up recently that I think could show up this year, but confidence and film will determine that.

If we play a 4-3, one more...... hahahah.

That transfer from Bama should fit the bill for the weak side. Two deep is the problem.
