I say let's play out the season and deal with only things we can control.
Bama, Michigan, Notre Dame will take care of themselves, and we have no control over what happens in their upcoming games, or how the Committee views it.

Honestly, I don't think ND gets past Syracuse. And just because I know how my luck is working with a bunch of coots, I can this happening too - WV and OK eliminate each other. OSU and Michigan somehow eliminating each other. WSU and UCF will never get a bid. So somehow it will be Bama, Clemson, 2 loss UGA and 2-3 loss LSU....somehow. That's just my luck!
But in the spirit of the OP's question - I too would prefer to play Michigan just because we have played the others recently.
