as he’s the only one to operate in the portal era. Most of college college coaches today? Nah, you.l need to look around as players are porting in and out everywhere. Pretty avg/normal.

Portal era only reflects 1/3rd of his tenure. Transfers have always been a thing. Far more significant than the creation of “the portal” was allowing immediate eligibility and Covid related eligibility extension. That completely phases out after next season. 2025-26 will be the last possible season of bonus Covid eligibility. The volume of players in the portal should contract signicantly.
