Lets say Dabo took the Florida job as head coach. He gets there ...and he is using the portal like its going out of style. He is paying ridiculous amounts of money to players as if he is Dabo Warbucks in the flesh. How would you feel as a Clemson fan if Dabo did the very thing he stood firm against... only to later allow it... and become very successful at another program???

I was debating this with a guy at work... because he was saying that Dabo probably wants the Florida head coach job. So I was like how stupid would that be..... because he only wants to coach and handle recruits his way .....not the way it is being done now with the NIL and all this portal activity. I reinterated....it would be a slap in the face to the people at Clemson after giving us all this hooplah about what he believes only to go to Florida and do the exact opposite. Because at Florida...he would have to pay players a lot more..and he will have to use the portal a lot more. How would y'all feel if he did a complete 180 in philosophy with another program and became very successful???

I wouldn't care what he does if he leaves Clemson! I only care about this program.

I'd wish him well. No denying what he's brought Clemson no matter what happens.

I'll also add, he's always hedged his bet on the portal and has openly admitted if he was at another program, he'd use it if need be. His stance has always been he'd do it here if he deemed it necessary.
