Clemson won’t be high enough to be ranked 5th seed. The playoff seeding I quite simple. The highest 5 ranked conference champs get in. The top 4 of those get a byes and are seed 1-4. Then the rest of the 8 seeds (which include the 5th conference champ) are just basically just the ranking.
