What did Les Miles mean when he told Dabo

"Im on your side" after the chic fil a bowl game? Just went back and watched the ending of that game, that incredible win will never get old to me. Imo, that was when our program turned the page into the football team we have today. Go tigers!

Also, he is "on Dabo's side" when it comes to dancing. Google it if you don't believe me.

Not sure it's the reason Les said that, but I seem to recall that TDP hired both Les (at OSU) and Dabo. I think he also recommended Gundy. Whatever you might think of TDP, he had a knack for hiring good coaches with personalities.

Les Miles is the coolest dude - I love Dabo, but Les is my clear #2 favorite coach. His press conferences are just a thing of beauty.

What was your memory of that game? Speaking of Les Miles, the "mad hatter". My guess is it would be the HUNH offense like was mentioned before.
But, on a side note there were many things obviously that helped us win. Played a great over all game. However, his management of the clock was insane. They had been running with success and then started throwing the ball unexplainably which stopped the clock leaving us with enough time to score. The other was as mentioned, the HUNH offense. I remember pointing out to my wife how the LSU defenders started getting up slowly, and obviously breathing hard. That was the game that sticks out to me as the best example of when a HUNH offense works. Please correct me, but I'm not sure I've seen our HUNH cause the defense to be quite as fatigued as they were in that game. What it does positively is get us in a good rhythm and give them less decision making time and gets them on their heels. Any thoughts?

I don't think les is a very intelligent person, so he probably meant in that very moment he was on his side, like the same side of the field Dabo was on that very second.

I always thought that it had something to do with spurrier.

That was a time when the quitter was getting in alot of jabs at Dabo, and Dabo was firing back. What I may enjoy most about our rise and the coots horrid state of affairs is how giddy cornbloot and that old guy (the professor or something like that) would get talking about and making fun of Dabo. Now that Dabo may be the best coach in America and spurrier is a sad old joke, they probably are not as silly as they once were. 70 points in the cockroach or bust.
