Weird that it works so well on Defense but apparently only is a negative on the other side of the ball. It's almost as if that statement doesn't really hold any water and is simply a lazy take.

Its always interesting when fans see a problem then assign something to blame. FWIW most issues have multiple causes...

He's mostly made great hires. I trust Dabo to bring in great coaches to replace Austin and Hall.

Agreed Leon. At least he's making changes. Been stubborn, but he's loyal to a fault. Some coaches just go down with ship.
Again, feel bad for all these guys. Think Hall will be able to find another gig--I know Dabo will help him & Austin

Not quite. The process that built the greatest era of Clemson football is simply evolving. The greatest head coach Clemson has ever had is adjusting his position. You have to play the game to find out where you’re coming up short in recruiting and development, and post-championship team slump is real. After our first championship it was over 3 decades; under Dabo you can count the seasons on one hand. And yeah, we’ve had truly unsuccessful seasons since the mountain top. Under Dabo, that means four losses and missing a couple conference title appearances. We should be nothing but grateful for what we have been given

He took too many inexperienced guys at once. All these guys may become great coaches but they needed more time in the oven so to speak. Can't have an entire staff of potential with no expierence on one side of the ball.

Look at Napier. That was a bet Dabo made as he saw the talent. Sometimes it still takes experience to fully realize the talent.

Anyone that has hired a few people has made mistakes. The interview and references all checked out, but somehow, they ended up not working out.
