Next year? Seems par for the course these days that a guy who’s by MILES our only decent pitcher yet has sat in that third starter role pretty much all year would look for GREENer pastures. I’d hope not but with the state of things …

As a freshman he’s the best pitcher on a veteran pitching staff. I would think he’d want a better crew around him. Grice was our best last year and he was the Sunday guy. Who knows. If he wants paid, he’s probably gone. College sports has become the free agent land.

I wouldn’t think he leaves , he’s an ace as a freshman on a national seed that is actually young in the turnaround and should only get better

Somehow, I don't think he will be so easy to give up on his team compared to some of our "fans."

I agree . Watching the fans get shelled on the mound the last 2 1/2 months has been disappointing.

I haven’t been on a baseball diamond since I was 1/2 way through my 21st year of birth, but I’ll tell u this. If your in a batters box with a guy throwing 93 mph and the count is 1 ball and 2 strikes, he throws you a ball that starts out at your knees and ends up in the dirt and you have to decide whether to swing or not, I struggle to believe that guy is thinking “ I wonder what Tigerfan54 is saying on some random website “.
Having said that, it will be all about the teams they get matched up with as to rather Clemson gets knocked out of another home regional. Obviously, they want to stay away from any team who is going to force a 3-2 ballgame . It will take a matchup with another program who has little pitching and has to win games 11-10 like Clemson

I’d like to think we have a good shot at keeping him. Looking forward to the NCAA’s and the opportunity to showcase the national stat rankings we we built our season on.
I feel Bakich can make the right moves.
