Athletic Department, Philip Sikes, tweeted that he's never seen it done during a game like this.
He mentioned that Maryland does during warmups/pre-game, but not during the game.
So yes, something is very wrong with chanting "[opponent] sucks" whenever you're beating them.

I know, I would choose a different chant. And It was kind of strange to me since we aren't rivals or anything, but maybe the new guys are coming in with a chip on their shoulder.

can't go back because it doesn't exist anymore, essentially it was absorbed/merged with the ACC so Pitt didn't have much of a choice, it was the ACC or get left behind
