The biggest factor is the lack of "hunger" and that dog mentality from the players. We are playing against brawlers using "scaredy-cat" talented players. We need the Michael Dean Perry type of leaders. His own players were more scared of him when they screwed up, than the other team's players. Also, there are rumors or lore from the Frank Howard era that if his teams performed this poorly, he took them to the gym and gave them sleeping bags. Also, he brought in uncooked food. He told them to cook for themselves, and this is where they are going to stay till, they played like men. Maybe today's equivalent would be to take the players games and other electronics away from them and have them stay in the old Fike Field House. Include the coaches as well. They all need an attitude adjustment!!!

You have no earthly idea what you are talking about.

Clemson, by every metric is hilariously more talented than every team we lost to, minus perhaps LSU where talent is relatively close. That's a fact and not debatable.

GT and Syracuse are loaded with 2* and 3* players. That's also a fact.

Clemson has been badly outcoached. All 3 losses came down to poor execution, and that's 100% on the coaches.

Poor coaching makes talented players look slower, weaker, out of position, lethargic, and soft. Good coaching makes average players look faster, stronger, etc...

Teams with less talent are beating Clemson because those teams are executing much, much, better than Clemson is.
