and we can't stop Wake from throwing right over our DBs, who look totally lost and over-matched by Wake receivers.

So, are Wake's 2 and 3-Star WRs that much better and more talented than our 4 and 5-star DBs, or is coaching the difference?

I am starting to believe it is coaching. We don't develop players anymore. None of our WRs in last three years has improved and our secondary play is just as bad.
