Did it surprise any one else that Dabo flat out said "we're not winning the national championship this year?"

I mean, they aren't statistically eliminated from the ACC Championship (yet) and if you win that you're in the playoffs.

No. I grew up listening to Danny Ford and Vince Dooley saying that whoever they were playing that weekend was going to beat them. Their preseason prediction of the team was always terrible.

I was also surprised. The at large bids go to the best teams available on selection day. The criteria is so vague that theoretically if we completely routed everybody left on our schedule we would be in the conversation. Margin of victory would need to be huge.
