Regionals/Supers good news/bad news

if we host a regional as expected - and win it, assuming a miracle does not occur, we are looking at a tough, tough Super Regional.

The 8 National Seeds are pretty mush established now:
UNC
UVA
FSU

Vandy
LSU

Oregon
Oregon State
Cal St Fullerton

So our Super Regional opponent, barring a major upset will be Vandy or LSU, unless we are sent out West somewhere (which would be preferable). Tough deal.

The Cluckers are looking at a Super going to UNC, UVA or FSU probably.

this team as young as it is...should go out west.....it is the best option...and less familiarity with team strengths and weaknesses....

NC State could give the ACC a 4th top 8 seed. They are still very much in the picture for that.

Vandy has had a good year, but lining up against them is far from scary. Corbin has only made it to 3 Supers and is 1-2 in them. I think it is the most ideal match up for us.

They are national seeds for a reason. But you can't put much stock into the way these predictions pair seeded brackets. The NCAA doesn't match the weakest region with the #1 national seed and the 8th national seed with the strongest region.

Other than travel, there is almost no rhyme or reason why the NCAA pairs up regions.
