again where was Dabo???? this is still the single most boneheaded coaching move of all time. DABO hired him was mistake 1, and then sitting there watching him gift the game to the coots was mistake 2. Maybe we now see the reason we havent been a serious contender since Venables left along with Jeff Scott, big daddy Dan Brooks, etc. Dabo hasnt looked like a real coach since they left.

It's well past time to stop whining about what happened last year.

a change at DC. He was the third leading tackler on the field with half the snaps as the leaders...He should be All-American this year...

That was tragic. Reggie was running through chickens like the bird flu.

Seemed like most of their tackles were in the 8-9 yard range last season. I expect Tom Allen will change that dynamic.

Barrett Carter was so overrated its shameful. Sammie Brown was the best LB on this team last year. Him on the bench in the 4th qtr against Carolina is exactly why Clemson lost that game. Barrett Carter missed so many tackles last season it was embarrassing. How Dabo allowed the midget to take Sammie off the is criminal.

Puddin Goodwin failed Barrett Carter, glad he’s gone before he got a chance to fail Sammy as well.

Its a very big assumption that we would have won the game if Brown was in the

game when Woodaz missed that tackle. I mean I also saw Brown be out of place and miss tackles at times as well, so assuming he would have been in position it’s another assumption he would have made the play.
I think it was more the offense going stale. We should have put more points on the board. When you hold the other guys to 17 in today’s game you should be expected to win the game.
In spite of all of that, we were well within range of a game tying FG, and we had a great shot to win with a short TD. Cade unfortunately made one of the most boneheaded plays of the season when he missed Mafah and threw the INT. That’s the bigger part of the game. Bigger than Woodaz’s missed tackle.
Frankly this is one of my bigger concerns going into the season. Cade MUST perform on a higher level and he’s gotta stop making the boneheaded mistakes. He certainly cut down on them last year, but missing Mafah and throwing a terrible pass into the defenders arms from 5 yards away cannot happen - especially when you’re driving in for the game winning score against rivals.
Cade needs to hit another level and stay there every game, and the offense can’t disappear in any games if we hope to have the season we think we can.
