WCWS Bracketology...Updated 5/2

Sweep of GT definitely helped our chances to host a regional. I think with a good showing in ACCT we get a regional...we shall see.

Currently these guys (link below) forecast us as a 10 seed w/ Miss. St. #2, Illinois #3, and USC Upstate #4 in our regional. Clemson would play winner of Arizona St. regional in a super regional. They have (4) ACC teams hosting...VT 1 seed, FSU 3 seed, CU 10 seed, and Duke 15 seed. In addition they have Louisville and Notre Dame making the tournament.

Much will change in the next (2) weeks as the season comes to a close and conference tournaments get started.

It would be great for the team to earn a regional. They have put in the hard work, with a strong finish they will deserve it.

We're currently have a rpi of 10 with #6 SOS. This projection resembles that. Still think Oklahoma will be the overall top seed. This would be a very favorable draw for us. Unbelievable to even be in the conversation with the schedule we've played.

It will come down to the acc tournament.

Yes it would. I was impressed with liberty last night the way they were able to hit rochard. More impressive that we held liberty scoreless in one of the games we played. Anyway, if we can do as you say, tighten up our defense, it'd take a little pressure off our pitchers.

Wouldn't mind seeing MG swing the bat on the first pitch unless it's the obvious ball. Get Logoleo and Russ a little more consistent with the bats. Would be nice to see a few +.300 hitters in the middle of our lineup.
