Bro watch the film. It isn’t all on Riley. Has he called a bad play every now and then? Sure. But there have been tons of open receivers that Cade hasn’t thrown the ball to. It’s everyone that is the problem. If Cade isn’t making a bad throw it’s the receiver dropping a great pass. If it’s not a missed block by an offensive lineman that blows the play up then it’s a stupid penalty. If it’s not Riley calling the wrong play then it’s a turnover. It is literally EVERYTHING that is wrong with the offense.

Bro there have been TONS and TONS of open receivers that Cade just isn’t throwing the ball to. To be honest Cade is probably making the most mistakes of everyone. He is not throwing to open receivers, he doesn’t trust his oline which causes him to see ghost and leave a clean pockets, and then when he does throw to receivers that are open he’s throwing hospital balls because they’re late and the receivers are getting killed. The OC can only get the guys open he can’t make the throws. At a certain point you have to look at the players.

Cut Cade loose and he would be better. He is a 7 v 7 phenom for sure but Riley is not good. Dabos meddling doesn’t help but there is no eye candy no pre snap movement and is way too slow and it is just the opposite of effective. It is really hot dookie buns. The worst I’ve seen in 35 years

Brother go to YouTube and watch Mac&murraycfb YouTube channel. Go back and watch all the film break downs of Clemson on their channel over the past few weeks. Cade is very very frustrating to watch this year. Go on YouTube and watch the on3 video “Clemson tigers upset by Syracuse”. These are football experts and they said the same thing as me. It’s everyone. I’d love to know the percentage of plays where we’ve had all 11 players doing their jobs. I bet that’d be very low. Also watch the Max Browne YouTube channel and his Clemson film breakdown. Riley isn’t perfect but he’s far from the main issue.

Brother none of that makes you an expert. Just because your son played college ball doesn’t make you an expert at diagnosing film. Or just because you’ve been “following” the football on Saturday and Sunday games doesn’t make you an expert. I beg you to not only watch those YouTube film breakdowns but I also beg you to “not” watch the football during the next Clemson game. Focus on the oline for a play or 2 without “following” the ball and you’ll see. It’s not all on Riley. Pay attention to the replays when Cade throws to an open receiver late. Look at how open he was and Cade throws it a tick or 2 too late. Even on the completed passes watch this. Brother I’m no expert but because of the film breakdowns I shared with you it opened my eyes to watch other things besides following the ball on the tv screen and it was very eye opening.

I don’t care what the guy looks like on the sidelines. He can look like venables or Mike Leach as long as he gets people open. NOW has Riley been the best this year. NO but like I said I think this is everyone stinking it up. Riley could probably calls some things different to help his struggling QB but this is D1 football and Cade shouldn’t have to have his hand held this badly.

Cade is a head case and runs out of the pocket when a mouse farts so yes he is also not good. Having a wide receiver playing running back is also not good.

I agree Cade has his problems but this falls on coaching. Its the coordinator's responsibility and HBC to have these kids in the best possible situation and its not happening. All Elliot did was highlight how deficient offense is at Clemson. We saw actual tempo tonight. Imagination. Fundamental blocking and route running. A consistent running game. Things we don't get to see any more.

I don’t disagree with this. I think every position on the offense is the problem and somewhere in the coaching is the issue but I don’t think it’s just the OC. We saw how that worked in 2022 and in 2023. Neither year did a new OC revamp this offense. Our issue is deeper and bigger than just 1 coach.

Our problem is WAY WAY WAY WAY bigger than just 1 coach. This is just the offensive side of the ball we’ve been talking about. As for the defense I’ve never seen a Dabo team not have heart and energy and nastiness. I don’t know what’s going on but this isn’t a 1 year fix.
