I think the NIU loss should really hold them back but considering it's their one and only loss and so many teams have 2-3+ losses now, its kinda hard to shove ND down objectively. Although ND's schedule is pretty easy, they also have better wins than we do and they beat Louisville (a common opponent).

Alabama is such a weird team this year. When they're on, they're locked in. But that UGA win is really carrying them right now and even though LSU is going on a end season crash; crushing them as bad as they did @LSU was impressive at the time. But other than that, you have losses on the road to Vanderbilt (5 points), Tennessee (7 points), and Oklahoma (21 points).
I'd leave Bama out after you weigh your options in front of them.

With the playoffs being 12 teams we are certainly a capable playoff team. Stop being an idiot and wake up. Every year there are about 2 or 3 teams that are what ur saying a playoff team is. If it was a 4 team playoff you would have a point. Being a 12 team I'd say any team from around 4-20 look the part of being a playoff team. You people should be ashamed to call urself fans.

Not entitled but as always hoping for the best. Tired of getting beat over the head on our schedule this year. Even if we had beat Louisville (which would have put us in the ACCCG), because they lost later, we would be told we beat nobody. NOBODY. I believe FSU, NC State, and Pitt were all ranked sometime this season. They all recruit exceptional athletes but they are all nobodys. We just played then too late to get the benefit of playing ranked teams since they lost before we played them. I think, even with the collapse of all these teams, Clemson beating them when they were ranked would have been noted. In addition, we have a chance this week to win...and then who knows if Syracuse at 8-3 takes down the Canes (who should have lost to VT) or we have more chaos this Saturday...who knows.

Ranked doesn't mean much. Missouri is ranked. They are not way better then any acc team. Look at the games early in the season. Miami waxed Florida, vandy beat VT in OT, okie st beat Arkansas, Missouri beat BC by 6, Georgia St beat Vandy, California beat Auburn. The SEC gets hyped over nothing imo.

I think the committee will establish a precedent in the first year that any 3 loss SEC team is worthy of the playoffs. Then all that matters is to rank them to decide which teams get in and which teams are left out.

Think we did that to ourselves a few weeks back.
Teams that cannot keep their field goals from being blocked need not worry about playoffs. Let’s just win out and see what or if any changes will be made in the off season.
