Mixed reviews last night as some stated that the baseball team had real problems with hitting and consistently pitching well (they were logical and have followed all season). Some were mad and bashed me for suggesting anything other than Clemson being dominant (how dare someone love their university and baseball team but yet speak logically about the issues.) this team has been taken to the woodshed by a team that doesn’t have no business doing this to them. If Clemson is really #2 they should be winning one out of two of these contest. They have been exposed and better get it together or they may not make it out of a regional this year. This board will really be a sight to see when that happens. No reason this team shouldn’t go deep in the postseason. They need some soul searching and must figure this out.

We strike out way too much. Most in the land, 12 times tonight and 12 last night. Pitching is suspect. We don’t make super regional

I want Clemson baseball to win as much as anyone. However, the current play has been suspect. If we’re in a regional and Knaack pitches like he did last night, we could lose game 2 and we’re most likely not advancing to a super. Some fans really need to wake up and realize that this team needs to get it together. It has been an incredible season, but I don’t want to see our baseball team go out like our basketball team did.

The biggest problem with this team is you can’t take a mediocre offensive team & just suddenly turn them into a good offensive team. I think we all have been misled by this team by not taken in account how many walks & HBPs this team gets that kinda accounts for some of their offense. When it comes to relying on those big hits this team is actually I think below average. Just look down the lineup & look at the batting averages on this team & then compare them to the averages on NCST or for that matter Louisville last weekend. There’s no comparison. You can’t fix a poor offense this late in the season. This team is what it is for better or worse.

Why do we continue to stick with priest? I get it, he has a lot of power and gets lucky sometimes and the pitch happens to fall in his bat plane. Because to me, he's guessing when he swings instead of seeing the baseball.

Yep, typical Clemson fan. Lose first series anyone can remember in awhile and the sky is falling. This thread is the perfect example of the "Every fan base has them" saying when ppl talking about the lunatic fringe of a fan base. Some of you may need to go outside and look up and see if you're living under something.

So if everything isn’t all sunshine & puppies then it’s the lunatic fringe. Got it. You know it’s possible to point out the issues with a team & if any of you have been watching you could see the issues and still be a fan. I live in reality not in a place of wishful thinking, If you can’t see the issues still within this team against better competition then you are the problem not the ones who can acknowledge those issues.
