Pumps or computers are down everywhere for tens of miles where I've been stalled for 6 hours (Gaffney & I-85 area) and staying still with less than a quarter of a tank to see if local stations will have power by AM Saturday..

Or may make a run at midnight on down to Sptg (25 miles) or G'ville (50 miles) and hope to luck up w/o running dry.

Called and no answer so will assume they are closed down or busy with those Souls allowed to get 2-3 gallons worth for gens.

It’s showing busier than usual online so I’m assuming they are open. There are several other stations at that exit as well.

I'd give you 1,000 bucks, maybe more to be on your adventure with you.

Anyway, since phone working again, I'd Google search:

gas stations on 85 near Gaffney sc that are open now

They give you a list and tell you how far they are from you. But most importantly, call the number and ask.

Just thought I'd suggest since I've had to do that a couple times when travel PA/NY and snow storm. Good luck. ❤️ you my friend. Thanks for posting your adventure and lunch etc. I've enjoyed immensely.

I would head east to place where power was not lost. Fill up there and head back to Clemson.
Did Columbia lose power? Surely somewhere within a quarter gas tank range has gas.
