Yes. Me! Peyton can read Ds better than Brady. Throw it deep better than Brady. Brady is very good but part of a system. And you can't take away his rings. Both are hall of famers but Peyton may be top 2 of all time.

Didn't Cassel win 13 games in NE? How'd he do after that.

He's got more weapons than Luck. But agreed, he's able to do a lot with not much. But so did Cassel. Part of that is tbe system.

I will say Brady is a fighter. Not saying he's not great. But question was who's better. I think Peyton is. And can't compare rings. Otherwise that makes Eli better and we ALL know that's not true

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Never really been a Brady fan and definetly

Jan 12, 2015, 12:22 AM

not a Patriots fan, but you are completely dulusional if you think Peyton is better than Brady.

You make great points and I just really, once again, don't und how Super Bowl wins has to do with being the best QB. We all watched the Super Bowl last year. I don't think you can deny that the Seahawks DEFENSE was the reason that game was won. It had NOTHING to do with a QB performance. The quality of a QB is not measured by the number of Super Bowl wins, rather it is quantified by the amount of TD passes that a QB has thrown in their career. Which is, in itself, what measures a the talent of a QB. Who has the most career TD passes? That would be Peyton Manning.

Oh and just so you know Peyton has 530 in first place and Tom Brady has 392 in fifth place (behind Brett Favre, Dan Marino, and Drew Brees)

I couldn't agree with you more! I get so tired of these Brady is better than Manning people. It takes a TEAM effort to get to and win the Super Bowl. Brady has played with several amazing defenses. I'm not taking away from the fact that he is a good QB because he is and he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame one day but to equate how many Super Bowls a QB win (once again a team effort) is ludicrous. There were several passes that were just dropped by his receivers tonight. On the night of the Super Bowl last year his center launched the ball over his head which set the tone for the entire game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Just look at Brady's post season record and Mannings

Jan 11, 2015, 8:49 PM

Just look at Arizona, a good team with Palmer, suck balls with him out. You either have a QB and are good, or no QB and suck. Brady is a winner when it counts, Manning is a loser. He is grateful Chicago was his one win with scrubby Mcscrubberson at QB

Manning just set the record for most one and dones with 9 in the playoffs.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hahahahaha Peyton is terrible at deep passes.

Jan 11, 2015, 9:40 PM [ in reply to Re: Just another post season loss for Peyton Manning ]

He throws more wounded ducks than any QB in the NFL. He has mastered the 5 yard dump pass, and made a career out of it.

LOL! That's exactly what I was thinking! That's one of the reasons I stopped listening to him. He had his head so far up Brady's @ss he has lost all objectivity and credibility.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Players are judged on post season play

Jan 11, 2015, 8:50 PM

and Manning has a losing record. Brady owns him head to head. Manning has weapons all over the field on offense yet still loses to 3rd year QB

Any points to make?

Ding ding ding

Jan 11, 2015, 9:41 PM [ in reply to Peyton Manning has never been better than Tom Brady*** ]

Forget about counting Superbowls, as I agree team matters

Manning - 9 playoff 1 and dones, Brady - 9 conference championship games
Manning - 11-13 in playoff career, Brady - most wins playoff history, 19-9
Manning - most major regular season records, Brady - most post season major records
Brady - best regular season winning % all-time
What's the head to head? Isn't it like 12-5 Brady?

Honestly I don't know how it's debatable. Manning greatest regular season, yes no doubt
Greatest ever seems to be Montana vs. Brady IMO

would rate them equal on the cerebral aspects of the game. But, Brady has always been a notch better in my book, and at this point in time certainly retains more of his skills than Peyton. Watching Peyton last night reminded me of the old adage (not sure who first used it) "Father Time is still undefeated". I think it is time for Peyton to admit that Father Time has won another one, and begin his after-career.
