Walt said today Riley will bring a heisman to Clemson. He went on to say that’s just what the Riley family does is coaches QBs to win heisman trophies. Thoughts?

Saying, Lincoln has helped 3 (or more?) QB's earn the trophy while Garrett had one sitting at last years awards.

Cade, as a true freshman QB in his first start, played one of the best games I've ever seen against UNC in the ACC Championship. He is a definite Heisman candidate.

Well I disagree with Walt on some things, but that may be an accurate prediction.
Lincoln Riley has had 4 college QBs play under him, Baker Mayfield (OK), Kyler Murray (OK), Jalen Hurts (OK), Spencer Rattler (OK), and Caleb Williams (USC).
4 out of the 5 won a Heisman, Williams, Hurts, Mayfield, and Murray. He is not Garrett Riley, but obviously there’s similarities given he’s his brother and their coaching styles. And Garrett Riley won the Broyles Award.
Garrett Riley coached one year at a P5 level at TCU and his QB Max Duggan was a Heisman finalist.
I’d say it’d be a safe bet to gamble on Cade Klubnik at least being in NY once.

I think everyone thought DJ would be a better pure passer than Trevor. Go back and watch his high school tapes. He was never good in the pocket, but he had an incredible arm, a beautiful spiral, and was extremely accurate. It's why he won the high school national championship and dominated the camps. Archie called him an incredible passer. We just didn't expect Streeter to poison him as quickly and thoroughly as he did.

That trophy is never coming to Clemson unless they bring the “heisman house” back to let fans take a picture with it.
CJ, DW, and TL never even was a serious contender, then no one will be.

A large and largely unrecognized part of competing for a Heisman is public relations. Garrett may help our QBs create Heisman worthy stats, but unless our PR Department cranks up their game a few notches, it won't result in a Heisman Trophy.
The schools with the most Heisman Trophy winners bombard the Heisman voters with glossy information all year long. And that is how one wins a Heisman.

There is too much bias and a large majority of the country doesn't watch ACC football, thanks to Swofford. Maybe if we switched to the SEC. If TL16 and DW4 didn't win it, I don't see it happening.

Then somebody better convince Dabo to allow us to run up some stats on teams we are beating badly and not take the #1's out in the 3rd quarter since Midwest and West Coast Heisman voters seem to look only at stats. For reference, see DW4 and TL16. I can't see Dabo ever allowing that to happen. Hope I am wrong.

Dabo said that. I think the idea of keeping a starter behind center after the game is decided is foolish. It risk injury and denies needed playing time to develop younger players.
In the world today Clemson is one of the few teams which don't run up the score to move up in the polls. Dabo will drop the hammer during the ACCCG and against our late season out of conference opponent to show the POC that we belong.
Until then Dabo likes manufacturing adversity to harden our players and does so by managing games to be close. It's nerve racking but intensely satisfying when the last whistle blows.

Max Duggan finished 2nd in the Heisman under Garrett Riley. Klubnik definitely has a shot.
