UNC scheduled Wake as a Non Conference game

Home and Home since under the illusion of renewing a traditional rivalry lost recently due to separate divisions. But they really just want easy NC games so they scheduled USuC next year and Wake

I can understand their thinking...they are a close historic rival that they won't play but once about every 7 years.
Now I'm sure they also like the idea it is Wake Forest... It's just weird with these big conferences. A class can graduate in 5 years and not face a conference opponent

Wake is not in the Ghetto, unlike the dumpster the Coots play in.

It is a historical rivalry. Why fault them? Better that getting a 1AA flunkie. Wake is a flunkie, but at least they are a power 5 flunkie.

That doesn't even sound right, a conference game that is gonna be non-conference.

coming to fruition. It's a strange sight, I'll admit, but I think it's a great way to see your conference peers more than once every 7-8 years. I would be happy to see us schedule someone from the Coastal for a home-and-home every now and then. It'd certainly be better than playing the likes of WKU, ETSU, Utah State, Georgia State, etc.
