Need a couple more to contribute on offense. This team can win the ACC if someone else can hit shots and be efficient. Wiggins should be doing it more. Can't believe someone on the bench isn't ready to do this.

We’ve all seen teams lacking effort, but the current teams at Clemson don’t have that issue.

Memphis is an NCAA Tournament team this year, but I can’t stand losing to a jerk like Penny Hardaway. I really wanted to pay them back after they beat us last year in Memphis.
We had our chances today to win, despite a horrible start to the game. Hopefully we will learn from this one and get better.

Definitely not happy about a loss but Memphis has some great scorers and considering I don’t think we played great today and still almost won the game is a good sign of how good this team can be.. go tigers!

Penny didn't have anything bad to say about Clemmson after their win. He was very classy.

I don’t think this loss will necessarily hurt us come tourney time … but just too many crucial mistakes to put the game away. When you are up 1 in OT with a min left there’s no need for a no look pass you have to take care of the ball… and there was way too many wide open 3 looks for Memphis where we didn’t come off screens or rotate well at all and they hit em . Last thing that comes to mind is that’s an absolute horrible last shot in regulation… chase is great at the mid range and getting to the basket I don’t understand that deep of a shot I mean he was 6-7 ft behind the arc I believe … I think we learn from it and games like this will help in the long run. I think this team could grab a 3 seed this year .

Given the large disparity in Brownell and Hardaway’s salaries I’d expect you to be a little more critical of this obvious underachievement.

They played hard after someone threw cold water in their faces at about to 10 minute mark of the first half. One player never did wake up and they had to sit him down the rest of the game. The first few minutes they were not ready to play. Reading clippings? Maybe. But more likely hung over from all night studying for finals all week. They are still students, ya know.......at least some are!

Couple of untimely TO’s but yes I agree I would not have been surprised if we had won or lost. Just a great game overall minus the final score.

And we all know what happens, in any sport, when you can't quite put a game away and let the opponent hang around.
Tough loss which I doubt will affect our ranking much at this point. TCB at SCar Tuesday and we'll have only 2 not so terrible OOC losses on our way into ACC play.
