Can't believe y'all are worried about coots getting to SECCG

And what is this I hear about them matching up well vs Bama?
Bama would run them out of the GA Dome. That game would be over by halftime. It would actually be funny watching the Coot fans head for the exits.

Have you noticed how lucky they have been all year?
That is what scares me.

It will take a lot more than luck. It would be fun to watch the beat down, though I probably won't watch it.

I don't think a lot of us are worried about the coots getting to the SECCG,it's just that Missouri has to win both of it's remaining SEC games against Ole Miss( road) and A&M(home) while the coots have finished their conference schedule, and have the tie breaker over Missouri.

if you don't live in SC, you have no idea on the repercussions of stuff like this. It doesn't affect you like it does us.

If we beat the coots, who cares what they do. We can say

we've beat the winner of the east, or heck, if they win, the 'best the SEC has to offer.'
The only thing of importance right now is winning out. That is what our team CAN control.

Not worried just hoping it's in play for our game.

If Mizzou beats Miss next week then Coots will have the championship game looming. Depending on our game time they'll either know the results of aTm vs Mizzou or still have the distraction of not knowing. Either way OBS will have to look at saving something for the championship game Dec 7. An injured Shaw, Clowney, or another impact player won't help his dream. He'll have to decide if beating a non conference opponent is more important than at least not getting turned into a greasy spot at the Georgia Dome on Dec 7. He can't have both.

Agree. The more distractions and nagging injuries the better.

Having the championship game the next week is another distraction. If we beat them, it doesn't really matter what else happens.

I'd like to point out that Mizzou doesn't have to win both

games to put pressure on the Coots. If Mizzou beats Miss next week and our game vs the Coots is earlier or at the same time as the Mizzou vs aTm game then it would be just as good for us. Our only pressure will be the game in Cootlumbia.

stupid coots would pull for both themselves and bama at the same time.....and while having a timeout or any other break in play they would be shouting sec....sec...sec..

Until we are competitive with them...

It really doesn't matter what they do in the SEC. Really, why should we give a shyatt about that? Just beat them... then they have nothing to say to us.
Regardless of the number of wins, QUALITY programs are judged on results against quality competition. So far this season we are 1-1. We have more to prove. Dabo still has more to prove.

They would probably lose to Bama, but there's a really good

chance they WILL make it to the SECCG. I have no faith in Mizzou to win @Ole Miss and beat TAMU. Even if you give Mizzou a 70% chance to win each game (which is probably too generous) that's still only a 49% chance to win both and claim the division. That means the coots are at least even money at this point.
And while i seriously doubt SC could put together an entire game together against Bama (they haven't yet this year unless you count Arkansas), they have looked great at times this year.

Just win baby. That is all we have any control over right now. If they make it to the SEC championship game it just makes our win over them that much more pleasing. Duke is going to the ACC championship game but they are the winners of a weak division. Same with the SEC. Duke could have beaten Usuck or Florida last night easily. If the Tigers are really ready to play there is no way that Clowney and Co. can stop Clemson. There is pressure on Dabo and his guys to make a good showing and I see that happening.

Our fanbase has become a bit paranoid regarding the Coots. We're due, man up and come with me to Cola and let's bust them up.

Some bad football teams. There is nobody on the other side they would win against. That being said we should roll them if we play our best

Plus, if we beat them, we can run around claiming that we are the real SEC East Champs...give 'em a taste of their own medicine.

what could be funnier than scar finally winning the whole sec but not playing in the NC because of the tenn loss ??? no way a 2 or 3 loss team makes it to the nc game.
