But be thankful that tiny Center will be on the sideline and not be abused on the field with the rest of the interior o-line.

Hurts a lot. Davis would have taken 75% of the snaps, with backups platooning and providing fresh energy to counter the run.
Now the backup starts, and effective platooning takes a huge hit.
As you may recall, that’s what happened the last time we met. The teams were equally matched for 3 quarters, and the d-line was exhausted by the 4th. That’s when the flood gates opened for the Dawgs .

Trotter broke his hand Wednesday the day after he was told he won the job. Already had surgery and will be back in 2-3 weeks.

Not surprised. Did you watch our center position last year? If we had anyone that was even close to competent they would have taken the job last year. I said it earlier, but if we dont run for 125+ tonight we lose period! This team has had had a huge weakness the last few years and it's the OLINE!!
