Who surprised you in a good way? In a bad way? Which player was most impressive?
Some standouts to me - Charone Peake at 214, Christian Wilkins at 299, Richard Yeargin at 254, Deon Cain 197, Ben Boulware 241, Wayne Gallman at 210 and Tyshon Dye at 213. Ben Boulware's beard was impressive.
Kind of surprised Deshaun was at 207. He looks thicker. Kelly Bryant looks great.
But that defense as a whole....Yikes. They pass the eye test

He looks like a force to be reckoned with. I thought Deshaun would be more at the 215 range, but the season has yet to start.

Bad way - Aiken , Hopper , O’Daniel , Norton , Seckinger , Brooks

O'Daniel doesn't concern me much because the position he plays. A little bigger would be fine. Seckinger could not work his lwer body and he may be a strictly positional receiving TE/WR hybrid since we have more depth with Richard, McCollough and Smith backing up Leggett.

But it is what it is...a light Weakside Tackle.
Also, I was expecting Huggins to come in at 300 or close, but if his weight is good and not just fat, I am pleased with his size for a freshman.
Norton, Cannon, Crowder amd McLean are looking ready.

Hyatt's weight won't be a issue, especially since he's matched against DE's. Experience will for a while, but he's also the most advanced OL we've had in decades. By mid year I can see him better than Battle ever was

All the DB's looked great. Albert Huggins reminds me of Grady Jarrett. Absolutely ripped for 286 with little to know baby fat. He will be a monster in 2 years.

Huggins impressed me the most. He will be absolutely huge by his jr year.
I honestly thought more players would look "ripped" than what I saw but then again, I am always over critical until I see them in pads.

Defense looks scary and all of our rb's are above 200 lbs. Good day.
I do have a tiny tiny worry about Watson only being at 207. He does look thicker for sure but I was hoping 215-218 range. As I said he does look a lot stronger so maybe I should let it go WatsonforHeisman

Agreed. I was hoping for 215, but hopefully it's weight he won't lose when the 2-a-days are in full action.

I'm really looking to see what he can do. Not sure if he receives any time this year or if he just redshirts, but I love his wrestling background. A ton of successful players have used that to their advantage.

many times last year when NT's bull-rushed him, he's a turnstyle....hopefully this is the year Guillermo steps up.
Also no mention of Aiken....doubt we'll ever see him play.
