I am looking forward to seeing how Cade improves, and the OL holds up.
I am worried about the secondary and our backups at DE and RB.
Also, Venables is our starting safety; I hope Jones, who is behind him, can take over at some point.

I think we will play well. Better than we’re getting credit for but they’re 1 for a reason. I’m concerned less about our d than our rb depth. Cade and ol and wr will be much improved (fingers crossed of course).

If Mafa gets hurt, then our RB unit will look like Georgia Southern.

I think we should have tried to replace Mukuba who will start at Texas.

I don't see us starting Venables at safety. I think it will be Barnes and Mickens. Our depth in the front seven concerns me in the 2nd half.

But I thought I heard Venabales was starting. Dabo said himself there is a huge drop off at LB. We know there is at DE.

except for Adams, and he doesn't have a lot. If one of them can pass block he will quickly take over the #2 spot because they all have shown they can run. Even ETN was an initial liability as a blocker.

DJ after all turned out to be who he has always been.
We’re all hoping Cade is not who he has been but is more like Bo Nix. We’ll see.

DJ is in his 5th year. Cade is in his 3rd. If Cade is going to be Bo Nix, we still have a long wait ahead of us.

In the "be careful what you wish for" file, keep in mind that in 4 games vs UGA, Bo Nix was 93/165, 56%, for 812 yds, 1 TD and 4 Ints, with a total QBR of 61.48. Not sure y'all want that against UGA. jus' sayin'

What personnel matchups do see as Clemson having an advantage, and which ones maybe worry you? I'm interested in watching your WRs against our secondary. I think Clemson may have an advantage there. Also I'm looking forward to watching our OL go against your DL. That should be a good test as well.

Briny against safety or LBs. Brown/Williams (both freshman all Americans) against UGA secondary.
Pwoo against Tackle or Guard/Center

Like I said in my post, I agree about your WRs & DL. But I'd be a bit surprised if your TE(s) have a big day against our Safety's and/or LBs. He'll have some catches for sure, but our D plays sideline to sideline well enough to keep him/them in check. That brings up a point about Tyler Brown as well. Cade likes to go to him on slants and inside screens, which may not be as effective against our D. I think he's going to have to hit Brown on some post routes, or deep crossers involving Williams.

To me it's your OL verses our DL.

We may be in trouble if your DL wears down the first-team OL. Also, our RB, Mafa, can't get hurt.

I agree on both counts. On D, Kirby always makes stopping the other team's run job 1. But we're gonna try to get after Cade like we did DJU last time. If we can, it may be a long afternoon for your Tigers. If Cade can hit some shots early, it'll help your cause a ton. You certainly have the WRs. Also, can someone emerge behind Mafah? Or can he carry the load by himself? (Never want anyone to get hurt).

If GA goes all out after Cade like they did DJ, they may be in for a surprise. Cade can run and improvise much better than DJ. DJ was about as mobile as a 37 year old Dan Marino in that game in Charlotte.

I believe ThUGa will have a locker room bounty on Mafah. Probably a couple others also. You watch.

I think Randall if he finally understands where the ball is going to be will be too physical for your dbs.
Antonio Williams vs any guy in the slot I like.
Peter Woods match's up with everyone on your OL no matter where he lines up.
Parker vs your OTs will be interesting to see.
Brinningstool will be an issue for yall with his size.
I think the strength of the OL is the right side so I'll be watching that in particular.
Injuries or quick 3 n outs will kill Clemson bc depth is very young.
I'm mostly concerned with playing too conservatively on offense. UGA will wear Clemson down if Clemson is not aggressive and pushing the ball downfield a few times a quarter.

Heres the bottom line...
We (clemson) have two players who would absolutely start on your defense (carter and woods) not sure we have anyone who would start in your offense...
Plus yall have more depth and higher quality depth at every position...
Its truly that simple to dissect...yet we could still win...but we will have to play great and yall will have to turn it over several times...uga 31...us 10...

Jamon Dumas Johnson was a all SEC Perform who transfered because he was going to start. No sure Barrett Carter would start at UGA either.

At no point in the last decade have I been concerned about Clemson’s defensive line other than when Dexter Lawrence was ruled out for the natty against bama. I think if we have had a pretty darn good defensive line for a while now.

Venables is a heck of a player especially healthy.
He’s a coach on the field, he can help our young secondary greatly.

When he runs at his pro day and scouts are reporting his 40 I think some will be surprised. He's much faster/quick than people realize. I remember people saying Shipley, Muse, Spector(lb), and Cole Turner were slow(I wonder why it's always the white guys?) then they all ran fast 40 times.

With a healthy spread of WR's plus Briny and more at the TE position

we will create passing opportunities. Cade's happy feet also equates to mobile, and the kid can sprint when called for. We will move the ball and make plays on offense.
My biggest unknown is PK. Too often our games have been won and lost here. Who's making those for us Saturday is where I'm most concerned. I feel pretty good about the rest.
