Can’t get away from them. A August Coot thinks they gonna beat the Tigers and win the national championship. They think like this every year. Is it the heat? Or maybe the water?

grandiose delusions and over-exaggerated optimism and it makes its appearance every August (just like pollen in the Spring).

It usually shifts to a "wait til next year" mentality in September or October when reality slaps them in the face again.
