Linking new Mexico tariffs to flow of illegals passing across Mexico. He screwed the pooch bringing in the drug issue in my opinion. That is a USA problem with demand that will always be met until we figure out how WE will deal with our rampant problem with drugs. Blaming another country or countries for our drug problems is silly .

SO? How does this mean anything to OUR drug problem? No demand no drugs across the border right? How does a man your age not grasp that simple fact? If our people use drugs then someone somewhere will fill that need. Cry about the cartels/Mexico but in truth as long as there is demand these types will exist. Fix our problems 1st, then move on to pointing the finger of blame at others.

Our law enforcement efforts to interrupt supply have proven costly and fruitless over the last 40 years ... except to build and fill the for-profit prisons or to create money laundering businesses. Admittedly I supported many of the “get tough” efforts on illegal drug suppliers in the 80s, 90s and even into the 2000s. In retrospect, maybe getting tough on the legal drug suppliers should have been a priority.
Now it seems, efforts should be placed on reducing demand.

using immigrants as a distraction to border patrol while those carrying the drugs cross somewhere that the patrol ain't. If the gov is between the sheets with the cartel then the gov is supporting the immigration of migrants to help the cartel earn money it will give to the gov leaders, police and mexican military.
I don't understand why you ask a question with such an obvious answer.
Supply and demand are the problem but there is only one sure fired solution to the demand problem. Legalize all the drugs that are being sold illegally but only those manufactured on America soil.

All for legalizing any drug as long as OD’s are not given Narcan and allowed to reach their final conclusion. Sometimes the herd requires thinning out the weak,sick or stooped so the rest can survive.

Yes he should have Articles of Impeachment voted on in the House over obstruction. Given that Slick Willy was voted on for obstruction/lying over a hummer and the investigation in to collusion with a foreign power is a far greater crime even you should be able to see why. Does not matter that no collusion was found, the fact is he obstructed while the process of determination was ongoing. Yes it it still a crime to obstruct even if the investigation turns out that no collusion was found. Basic Law in fact.
