Probably a good call on their part. He was responsible for the both disaster hirings of Jimbo at A&M and Brian Kelly at LSU and the subsequent buyouts

Didn't Miami do the same thing when they hired Cristobal? If I recall correctly he was hired just before DRad was hired as AD.

I know many are type A personalities stroking their ego is necessary for them in life.... But is it really worth taking the LSU job right now. I mean it is title or bust and it's that simple.

You can get paid a lot of Life-Changing money at schools without all of the pressure. Let's be real, in this day and age, it's just not going to end well.

Tell if I was a hot candidate and the board of supervisors called me (Kiffin)... I'd tell them at a minimum they are matching all the terms of cignetty's contract plus 30%.
