I've said it time and time again. I LOVE we are now bringing in the best of the best and being able to pick and chose from the top, but it pains me to see USUC get kids that would have normally come to Clemson. Our success is going to save their #### in recruiting and help them rebuild.

TW has been right a whole lot more than he's been wrong. Not much anyone can do as a TNet predictor if the recruit ain't even honest with the coaches, as seemed to be the case with Gary per Coach Scott's reaction.

If we get him fine but for me qb is not a position of need I'd rather have a 5 star corner or Dt. That's just me if true then you know at least 2 will eventually transfer. Happy for him regardless .

If and when you can get a player of his caliber, you jump on it. If you need to tweak your playbook, you do so. Just my opinion but, The other guys may come and go, but that dude, like DW4 is a once in a decade talent. I do think we are already blessed, but best man plays, and if dudes transfer so be it. A couple will stay. I would really love if TL is willing to redshirt, but it he's THE MAN when he rolls put to practice, so be it.

We kick Swag out, Deshaun is injured most the season, and we're down to Cole Stoudt. The only thing keeping us from losing some of those games was our #1 ranked defense. It would've been nice to go to another 4 or 5 star QB in the bullpen. If you have a chance to get TL, you do it. It's a no brainer.

depth at QB,
you should go back and watch the Natty Megacast on ESPN
where the 5 coaches are joined by Chris Spielman and Brian Griese.
One of the first things that is pointed out by several coaches - but not Muschump -
is that Clemson is a good team but with a "game changing QB".
Yes, we have depth across the board from recruiting well the last 5 years or so,
but a "transcendent" talent at QB is the sole reason
we're favored to beat FSU and in the hunt for the Natty, nothing else.
I'll take every dang 5* QB we can court, cajole, and coax to be a Tiger,
with the thought that at least one of them will turn out to be a Joe Montana redux.

Here's the thing...Lawrence is not just a 5* QB. He's significantly better than other 5* QBs of late, including Hunter Johnson. As a prospect, he's likely the best in about a decade or more. Closest comparison is Peyton Manning, with a little more athleticism. Likely a better prospect than Deshaun was out of high schoolz

This is a close to a true toss up as I've seen in recent years. Make no mistake though - as good as Big Dex should be, Lawrence is likely a higher caliber of prospect.
