we just don't play that way. I've seen WR, TE, DB's, QB's, LB's, linemen absolutely get after it today. So eye opening.
I'd love to know what were doing at practice and in the weight room.

in jeopardy. When seniority is the determining factor and there is no threat that a transfer portal player will replace them we end up with a bunch of soft players that don’t give a crap.

Using the transfer portal more might be helpful in bringing in players for different positions, but the idea that players just don’t feel "threatened" by the limited number of portal players seems to be a stretch.
Most schools that use the portal to a sizable degree use it to fill holes they see before the season in their roster not as some type of "leverage" against the majority of their starters. I think your view of the portal is not realistic.

at most key positions and not afraid to sit anyone not performing as they should.
Dabo doesn’t sit a starter even if not giving ultimate effort.

The idea that our team hasn’t "played hard” is both unprovable and an oversimplification. We have made many mistakes and looked out of sorts for much of the season but just going, "that’s cuz we aren’t playing hard!" is simplistic.
In reality, it would mostly likely be we are in our heads, other teams have had better strategies when they’ve played us, the ball has just bounced wrong for us a bunch, etc. So while underperforming is clear, there’s no simple, "they’re just not playing hard!" excuse.

They are also mentally and physically soft now too?? That is definitely a simplistic explanation for a team that has underperformed this year. Simplistic explanations usually don’t equate to real-world realities.
