Top OC Candidates for Clemson?

Jeff Scott has to be one, unless he departs to be the OC at SMU.
Who else? The guy from TCU? Baylor? ECU?

We don't want the guy from ECU (Riley?) No run game. They throw it 40-55 times per game.

Well if you run 80-100 plays a game then that's half and is good balance.

I'm pretty sure they have more rushing yards than us. So might want to hold off on that argument

If Scott is offered our OC job, then of course he'll stay put.
I like Riley at ECU, and Montgomery at Baylor. Maybe even Scott Frost at Oregon.
I'd be willing to bet my house that Jeff Scott gets the job though.

Don't see anyone leaving Baylor TCU or Oregon to be OC at Clemson.
Just as I don't see BV leaving to take same roll with auburn or Texas A&m
Just doesn't make sense. Not a big enough move, very lateral, or some would say step down based on rankings etc. Now auburn co-cords could easily take a job to Be the man at Clemson but the others don't make sense to anyone with decent football knowledge

I doubt chad has the luxury of bringing in an unproven coordinator

If that's the case, then why should we hire an unproven coordinator?

I would really like ASU 's offensive coordinator
Nov 28, 2014, 9:40 PM
|
|
He has a very similar style that Chad Morris has as he worked under both Chad Morris and Gus Malzahn. ASU 's offense is also currently one of the best in the nation right now. Im sure Dabo has had a good idea about who he wants as Chad's replacement for a while now.
