Top 10 Programs Last 10 Years

Jul 30, 2022, 12:26 PM

I strongly believe we should have been #2 given our dominance over Buckeyes. However, if you would have told me 10 years ago we would be the 3rd rated program over the next 10 years with 2 national championships, I would have gladly accepted.

Agree. Given Clemson has more championships and a winning record against OSU, it's hard to understand ranking the Tigers behind the Buckeyes.

And the 31-0 Beating of Them Should Resolve That

Jul 30, 2022, 12:45 PM

Soundly. That beatdown is worth 20 years of shame.

Had to be based on draft picks but that seems like an odd thing to use in rankings instead of actual on field success, especially instead head to head results. Who cares how many guys a team has drafted if the team consistently under performs based on the players it has?

Records & scores = facts

Which facts support this opinion/ranking?

Yep, in the past 10 years, Clemson is 3-1 over Ocryo, with one of our wines over them being a 31-0 natural beat down!!!

So 3-1 vs the Buckeyes the last 10 years and 2 titles

Jul 30, 2022, 1:08 PM

to their 1 and played in 4 title games to their 2 and 6-4 in the playoffs to their 3-3. Makes no sense. But if you look at the paragraph on the Seminoles, it says they went unbeaten and won the BCS title in 2014 when actually it was the 2013 season. So 247 loses credibility for inadequate checking and editing.

The last 10 years doesn't mean squat. Tee it and kick off 2022.

Well, putting Ohio State in front of Clemson proves this article has an agenda.

In the last 10 years Clemson has won 121 games, Bucknuts have won 117. Clemson has played for 4 National Championships and won 2. Bucknuts have played for 2 and won 1. Clemson is 2-1 vs da Bucknuts. Clemson has gone 14-1 three times, Bucknuts did it once. Clemson went 15-0 once Bucknuts have never done that.

Clearly the Bucknuts had a better decade.

The fact that OSU is ranked second invalidates the credibility of the entire list.
