First off…love my Tigers. But Im a little tired of hearing “how good we are” and Natty projections etc. How about we hush up and win a few games before giving our opponents all this billboard material! Opinions?

you have something handed to you. Always told my son, let your game talk for you. If you're good or make a good play, everyone sees it. You don't have to bring attention to yourself. Plus, Karma will come back to get you.

Agreed. Let’s wait and see how we do on the field. Everyone thinks they’re awesome and much-improved before the season starts. Then you go up against other teams that have been practicing all summer too - and only then do you find out if you’re really any good.

they have been projecting us to stink last few years
i was like naaaa - what are these idiots smoking…
well we weren’t very good
so I am optimistic that we have a dang good team in 2025

I just want the players to stay humble .
In fact months ago I posted this team needs to implement a social media blackout leading up to our opener because the praise had already become a distraction.
As for as the fans are concerned, , let them be fans. If other fans don't want to read it.....don't. It's harmless fun

I feel like we will be improved this season, but i agree with you. I don't have the data, but haven't faired better when we have started around 10-12th and just moved up? All of the Natty projections seem to be saying that if everything goes just like last season, we can stop tbe run, and our receivers are as advertised we win it all? Call me a pessimist, but isn't that like most teams in the top 15?

I’ve felt the same. Even during the season, the talking just becomes even worse. The team needs to stay away from the popularity contest. We already have a brand. We don’t need to enhance it like that. Like Florida State’s lost program.
