I was listening to him 25 years ago on a Charlotte station. I believe he had some health issues recently (?). Always enjoyed him.

If he did, he has it handled now.

He said on the show he decided to retire to travel a lot with his wife all over the world. Also wants to write and spend time with family. He could still make special appearances once in awhile.

He will me missed.

he played on the Clemson golf team but laid the clubs down for good when his first child was born. He said he wanted to spend those 4 hours at home with them instead.

He represented the ACC well on the show, and I enjoyed his rhetoric. Of course, he’s a Clemson man so he would mention it, but I don’t think it was anything like ESPN does with SEsheesh. He props up other ACC schools and I hope they find a good new host. Justin (forget his name) could be good, but I’ll miss MP.

Think they need to replace Mark with The "QCB". If you listened to Pack on WFNZ, you'll know who I am referring to. Pack will definitely be missed!
